Milk & Honey was born to create spaces for the creators, artists and activists of the Global South to come together in support of our cause and in celebration our culture.
Join us for our Ramadan gathering where we celebrate the traditions of iftar (breaking fast) and suhoor (pre-fast meal). We’ll share a family style meal while we hear about keeping the Mamdani momentum going, give audience to a South Asian musical genius, screen the most critically acclaimed Arabic film ever made (Al Mummia, 1969) and discuss the films relevance with an expert in Arabic cinema.
We are a community produced event, and happy to extend an open invite for this iftar - free to all - but donations welcomed.
